M.Sc Community Child Health (CCH) is the pioneer post graduate program at KICH. It is a full time, TWO years degree program taught in English, spread over Four Semesters and having 60 credit hours, with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and skills of students in the promotive and preventive child healthcare. Program is affiliated with Khyber Medical University(KMU) Peshawar and will be registered with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council(PM&DC). Definition of credit hour, admission criteria, academic sessions and methods of assessment will be those adopted by KMU. On campus full time classes will be held at the Khyber Institute of Child Health (KICH), Phase 5, Hayatabad Peshawar. First semester will comprise of Public Health core courses while Second& Third semesters will mostly comprise of Child Health Specific disciplines. Fourth semester will have a field practicum and a Thesis writing; both in child health specific areas.
